We manufacture and design mineral insulated thermocouples. Mineral insulated thermocouples consist of an outer metal sheath which protects the thermocouple elements from damage and contamination, this sheath is malleable so mineral insulated thermocouples can be easily bent and formed into a variety of shapes to suit your application. The inner thermocouple elements are insulated with magnesium oxide powder, tightly packed so no air is trapped inside, this provides great thermal conductivity.

MI Thermocouples are very tough and can withstand up to 1250°C (depending on design and thermocouple type) making them perfect for a wide variety of industrial uses such as ovens, kilns and furnaces.

A very common robust sensor with a wide range of applications. Also known as “bare leads” thermocouple.
Mineral Insulated Thermocouple Insert with Block
This standard design can be altered in accordance with IP65 and is very suitable for insertion into a pocket.
Mineral Insulated Thermocouple with Standard Plug
The standard plug enables the temperature sensor to be easily connected and disconnected to a variety of controllers and readouts in busy and demanding environments.
Mineral Insulated Thermocouple with Miniature Plug
The miniature plug enables the temperature sensor to be easily connected to a variety of hand held instruments and read outs.

This standard design can be altered in accordance with IP65 and is very suitable for insertion into a pocket.
Mineral Insulated Thermocouple with Permanently Attached Cable
This is a variation on the MI Thermocouple with Pot Seal & Tails. It comes with a longer cable and is often used in original equipment manufacture.
